- This book is really really good. I absolutly love it, but I think that the Minerva and Deirdre books are even better and I think that it is rather silly that there don't seem to be any links about those books on this page, because they RULE!
By the way I would give Minerva and Deirdre each a score of at least 6 on the scale of 1-5. I thought i'd stick that comment in there just in case anybody cares. (M.F., 3-13-97)
Daphne is one of Chesney's series, The Six Sisters. The best "sister book" is Minerva, the first. Daphne is not as good. However, after reading Minerva, then Annabelle (the second in the series), reading Daphne is like reading about your friend's sister. Daphne is much more enjoyable when taken as one of the family. (A.M., 10-24-96)
Very light, but this series is among Chesney's best. Her Poor Relation series also started out well, though it petered off. Chesney's books get skimpier and slighter; I wouldn't spend too much for them! Why isn't Jane Feather anywhere on this Romance Novel Database; she's a pretty good read, esp. good with sex scenes lately. (E.P., 5-19-96)
I enjoyed this book. (P.C., 5-1-96)
