Reader comments:
She made me love books about witchcraft. I think I'll read it again! (L.W., 5-19-98) I loved this book! I have all of her books and this one was definitely one of the best. Highly recommended! (A.F., 4-10-98) Good read. Well drawn characters including the secondary(love that Sven and Cop) and the story was interesting though I was wishing towards the middle end that Adrian would wake up, let his intellect go and trust a little. I did enjoy it and want to read more Medeiros. (Y.P., 5-12-97) Whimsical and light hearted, a great break from all the deep romances. Read all her books after I laughed through this one. She has a way with description that will leave you laughing. (K.M., 4-19-97) The second book by this author that wasn't as good as the rave reviews suggested. I don't find them humorous, only silly, and the heroines are such bubbleheads they ought to have keepers. Only for the easily entertained. (P.D., 4-15-97) There are not enough Teresa Medeiroses writing women's fiction! Breath of Magic is a Breath of Fresh Air!! I love her humorous style and think many other authors could also learn not to take there characters too seriously. Her characters are real in the sense that they are not these paragons that people feel they have to live their lives up to. They are characters that laugh, love, fight, cry.... kinda just like regular people, albeit the situations are a bit unusual, but hey, isn't that what reading is about? Fantasy and fun..... Gotta love it!!! (M.Y., 4-5-97) This book got me hooked on Teresa. I met her once and she's a wonderful lady. Arain wasn't supposed to be too smart. She was a Puritan dumped into the 1990's, if it had been me I would have been a dunce too. Great read! I recommend it. You'll love Tristan! L.W. 3-1-97 (L.W., 3-1-97) It took me a bit to get into the book. Not her best book. (L.M., 2-6-97) Too hokey to be rated as high as 4; Arian is a dunce. It's cute, though. (J.H., 1-14-97) Really hularious and heart warming book, I started reading all her books from then on...Thought that this book was the stereotype "back -to-the-future"book, but it was not at all what I expected ! (E.K., 1-10-97) Very funny and cute. Time travels have a tendency to confuse me but this was a fun read. Looking forward to the sequel. (G.A., 12-28-96) You know its a good book when your laughter makes your husband look up from the television! I loved this book! Her humor and style remind me of Jill Barnett. I will positively be reading more of her work. (The "goat" was ingenious.) (G.S., 11-21-96) Wonderful read! I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a light hearted romance--one with humor and great characters. (T.G., 10-21-96) I have read 3 o T. Medeiros' books and have loved them all!!! (G.K., 10-20-96) I've always loved magical stories! Especially with witches. This book is hilariously funny and it has a great ending. Who knew that a broom could actually bring you love? Maybe I should start sweeping!! (J.R., 10-17-96) Very interesting. I read it straight through. I hope her other books are this good. (L.S., 9-6-96) I loved it. It was fun as opposed to all those too-serious, just-lust book. It made me laugh all the while they were going through their romance. (N.C., 9-1-96)
