Reader comments:
I enjoyed the humor in this book: the hero's comments on his thinning hair! I also enjoyed how the main characters changed and grew. The heroine proved she could make it on her own and the hero wasn't so lazy after all. Both were very likeable. (L.J., 7-29-96) I thought this was one of Kelly's weaker efforts. (M.L.N., 5-30-96) The thing I liked most about this tale was the fact that the hero is not classically tall, dark and handsome; he is middle-aged, with thinning hair and a growing paunch. More authors should paint their heros as average men under extraordinary circumstances. Isn't that how heros are created? (N.J., 5-28-96) Not Kelly's best, but still quite good, as are all of Kelly's books. (E.P., 5-23-96)
