Chris Nitchie
We met on the set of The Tempest in the fall
of 1998. Our first date was dinner at China Gate. We were engaged on April 21,
2001. The wedding is set for July 20, 2002 in Promised Land State Park, PA.
After graduating in the winter of 1999, he went to work as a web developer at
Global Food Exchange, making the world safe for global food. Just so you know,
September is national chicken month. Now he works at Arbortext in Ann Arbor,
Michigan as an Associate Software Engineer. He, along with Mike Newberry founded
The Rude Mechanicals (the theater
company I now run) in the fall of 1996, when he directed King Lear. He
has a tendency to kill his goldfish so the last batch we named Hamlet, Lear,
Macbeth, and Othello. Of course they are all dead now.
" ...A
crew of patches... Rude Mechanicals... were met together to rehearse a play..."
-Puck, A Midsummer Night's Dream
