Documentary Film of the New School. Recording classroom activities, faculty meetings, planning meetings and other events for an alternative high school program within the Ann Arbor Public Schools during its first year of operation. Filming and editing using Hi-8 and other video formats, still color photography, and audio recordings of various school related events. Conducting interviews and research related to the process of developing a public school of choice. Documenting activities related to this project for creation of a supplemental text.  

"Shaping the American City" World Wide Web Course. Developed a prospectus and demonstration site for a proposed Web based course in urban development history in America. Wrote a grant proposal (pending approval) for the full development and implementation of a collaborative higher education course offering in this subject for the National Endowment for the Humanities. Presented a white paper on this subject at the Associaiton of Collegiate Schools of Planning annual conference in 1995.  

University of Michigan School of Education World Wide Web Site. Worked with a central administrator and design professional to develop informational content for the School of Education's Web presence. Developed a unifying organizational structure for presentation of information from the six separate programs of the School. Developed various indices for use by educational specialists.  

"TechSmart" Summer Workshop for Instructional Technology. Worked with a team of graduate students to develop a week long workshop for educators regarding use of computers within the classroom. Led several featured sessions addressing administrative issues regarding technology use as technology planning, staff development, and the future of instructional technology. Assisted in instruction in a winter workshop series for school administrators regarding technologies in schools.  

Plan for Technology Implementation for the Montague Area Public Schools. Worked with school officials, teachers, administrators, and community members to develop a learning centered technology plan for the district. Addressed several concerns including curriculum development, teacher in-service training, technology leadership and administration, and financing of technology acquisition. Developed reference materials addressing Internet use and application for educational purposes for teacher use.  

Student Socialization at the University of Michigan School of Education. Used phenomenological research methods in the analysis of coping techniques and stress relief measures of graduate students in the School of Education. Interviewed and observed several students and professors with varying backgrounds in the pursuit of information related to leisure activities and relationship building as a means of creating community. Co-wrote an analysis of these concerns entitled "The Family: After Hours at the School of Education."  

Master Plan for Olivet College. Analyzed and co-authored a master plan for physical development for the next twenty years for a small liberal arts college. Worked with college administation on analysis and development of feasible recommendations for future facilities concerns.  

Prospectus for Valmeyer, Illinois. Developed a prospectus for the rebuilding of the town of Valmeyer, Illinois, after flooding destroyed the village. Included planning considerations such as physical layout, zoning and other legal concerns, social and economic considerations, housing, schools, and other considerations.
