Yep, I'm working on this page too. It'll be here by mid-late
January 1998.
This is my own list of information and links which can help educators
in dealing with technology issues in their schools. Also, for those
of you looking for my handouts from my recent presentation at MACUL '97
(the conference for the Michigan Association of Computer Users in Learning),
this is the place to go.
GREEN Resources and National Student Congress
Information. In the past, I have worked with a wonderful
organization called "GREEN", which stands for Global Rivers Environmental
Education Network. I am currently administering the site for registration
for this congress and posting of information related to this event.
Down the road, I will also be providing information and links for watershed
education programs and other project-based learning opportunities.
MAC Resources. No, this has nothing to do with the
golden arches or anything remotely Scottish. It's a set of resources
I'm starting to develop my my students in the MAC program at the University
of Michigan School of Education. In case you're wondering, MAC stands
for Master of Arts with Certification, and is an intensive one-year Master's
program for those who wish to teach at a middle or high school. The
resources will include projects and readings I have developed or collected
for our class, as well as (hopefully) a number of lessons and activities
developed by our students for classroom use. It's in the early stages,
but it will be getting much larger very soon.
