Fitz Roy and Poincenot from a lower lake.
Clouds move in as the sun goes down...

and never lets you down.
These are the famous Torres (towers) del Paine in Parque Nacional Torres
del Paine, Chile.
Continuing along the 9 day Paine Circuit you arrive at the Cuernos
(horns) del Paine.
You meet some great people along the way and a couple huts even sell
this wonderful Chilean red wine!
Five of us prepare to cross the 1200 m Paso John Garner that everyone
has been telling scary stories about...
After crossing the pass we camp by the murky and surreal Lake Perros.
A rainbow at the end of the journey...
The Cuernos del Paine look just as beautiful from across Lago
Nordenskjold.
Every year 70,000 pairs of Magellenic penguines lay their eggs and raise
their young on a small island in the Straight of Magellan. They are
so cute and curious!
