BROMLEY HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION NEWSLETTER
SPRING, 1997.

BHA ACTIVE WITH ORCHARD HILLS/MAPLEWOOD HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION IN
WATCHDOGGING PROJECTS PROPOSED FOR THE NORTHEAST AREA.

Many hours have been spent this past winter and early spring by your BHA
President in following the developments proposed for northeast Ann
Arborfrom numerous conversations on the telephone to going to meetings at
City Hall. Thanks in particular to Steve Rapundolo, President of the
Orchard Hills/Maplewood Homeowners' Association for his continuing efforts
not only to garner information, but also to distribute it to various
groups in the northeast. Cross-association efforts seem useful, and BHA
has been very happy to contribute time and effort where appropriate. If
you, as a Bromley resident, have concerns about the general development
plans across the larger northeast area, tune in on Cable Channel 10 to
either City Council meetings or Planning Commission meetings. Also,
please communicate any particular concerns you might have to a BHA board
member.

SPRING-- A HAPPY TIME.

Bromley looks so nice in the spring; the flowers in Bromley Park continue
To do well, as do the flowers and lawns around the neighborhood. What a
shame it is when all this enjoyment is interrupted by a thoughtless actbe
it failure to stop and scoop, failure to obey Ann Arbor's leash laws, or
failure to not trespass (a comment on the toilet papering of trees).
Let's work in a constructive way to keep our neighborhood the fine place
it is and keep rude interruptions, some of which violate City of Ann Arbor
Ordinances, at a minimum. Those with excess energy might consider helping
a neighbor instead of harming oneor join Dolfins pool and melt away the
stress and strain!

THANK YOU, PARKS DEPARTMENT!!
No doubt all of Bromley, particularly those of us with young children,
rejoice in the new playground equipment that has appeared in Bromley Park.
Many thanks from BHA, and no doubt from others, to the Parks Department of
the City of Ann Arbor. We will be well-served as a neighborhood by this
improvement to our "jewel" of a neighborhood park!
