Population and Housing Trends

The goal of this project is to examine housing and population trends in Hennepin County since 1990. This study is inspired by the book, Metropolitics, by Myron Orfield. Metropolitics examines trends in poverty, crime, migration, schools, tax capacity, jobs, housing values, infrastructure investments and more across the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan region through the early 1990s.

This project re-examines the trends in housing and population since 1990. The focus of this project is Hennepin County, one of seven counties in the Minneapolis-St. Paul Region.
