In this lesson students will compare the structure and function of a cell to a city.
In this activity students will encounter and describe the structures of a cell in a simulated exploration.
Students will observe plant and animal slides under a microscope. Students will also compare and contrast the different cells they observe.
Students will take water samples from a pond. They will observe and document the different cells and life forms under a microscope. Then the students will create experiments to see how these different organisms are effected by various factors (i.e. chemicals, temperature, light).
