GIS ANALYSIS
Merged Buffered Areas

The project area comprises the Bromley Subdivision bounded by
Plymouth Rd, Nixon Rd, Prairie Rd, and Bluett Rd.

The area in green is Bromley Subdivision.  Bromley's total size is 46.39 acres.

The analytical process merged the three feature types into one feature at each different zone.  Those zones consist of a 2-foot buffer, 5-foot buffer, and 10-foot buffer.  The total 10-foot buffer area is larger than the Bromley parcel.  Bromley's total area in this project does not include the street area; whereas, the buffer area for 10-foot buffer extends out into the street.

Rooftop-Sidewalk-Driveway with 2-foot zone:

The total area for 2-foot buffer is 22.59 acres.
The percentage of the total surface equals 48.70 %.

Rooftop-Sidewalk-Driveway with 5-foot zone:

The total area for 5-foot buffer is 26.35 acres.
The percentage of the total surface equals 56.80 %.

Rooftop-Sidewalk-Driveway with 10-foot zone:

The total area for 10-foot buffer is 48.60 acres.
The percentage of the total surface equals 100.05 %.
Some of the buffer zone lies outside of the Bromley Subdivision
boundary, which gives the total area the same as the
Bromley Subdivision with open area still visible.
