Deauville Line

The so called Deauville line was proposed as a boundary line between Palestine, Syria and Lebanon by David Lloyd George in September of 1919.  According to this proposal, the border of Palestine would follow the ancient Israelite boundary, running from Dan to Beersheba.  (McTague, 1982, 102-05).
