About Me

I am a fourth year PhD student at the department of Statistics at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I did my Bachelor's study in statistics at Presidency University, Kolkata (earlier known as Presidency College, Kolkata) and earned my Master's degree in statistics from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata.

I am a PhD candidate working under the supervision of Professor George Michailidis and Associate Professor Yves Atchade. My current research is focussed on estimating high-dimensional dynamic network. Some of the other areas I am interested in are graphical models, high-dimensional inference, nonparametric regression, bayesian inference.

Outside academics I am also enthusiastic about sports and like playing soccer, cricket etc. I love reading biographies, detective stories, travel stories and enjoy listening to music. I have a keen interest in painting and find pleasure in writing travel stories as well.
