Standard II

In this section, you will give an initial description of your unit, how you decided on the technologies to include, and the main activities you did as part of the technology integration in your lessons. You don’t need to write about everything in your unit. You do need to give highlights of your lesson plan so that someone who doesn’t know your class or curriculum will know what you did. This write-up will probably be no more than three paragraphs.

You will want to show how your lesson not only was designed to meet student technology standards but also the standards of the Michigan Curriculum Framework.

Links to Exhibits that Support Standard II:
Exhibits that demonstrate what you have done are required. You must provide a unit plan as one of your exhibits, and may find it useful to include individual lessons within the unit.

You can provide a link to exhibits after each paragraph as shown in this example, or see the example on the next page (standard III) for links within the text.

Exhibits that Support Standard II: (these are some examples, but your unit will have different materials you need to include depending on what you did). Note that each underlined item of text should link to the appropriate location in your portfolio under the Exhibits section in the template. The links are here, not the exhibits themselves!
