Hi, my name is Ryan McGinnis. I'm originally from Charlotte, Vermont. I received my PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan in April, 2013, and am currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Perkins Lab in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and in the Human Performance and Innovation Lab in the School of Kinesiology at the University of Michigan
My research interests are primarily focused on the application of inertial sensors to the measurement and analysis of human biomechanics for clinical assessment and rehabilitation, remote health and performance monitoring, and sports training and skill assessment.
In my free time I enjoy playing ice hockey and golf, doing yoga, competing in triathalons, and cooking.
