University of Michigan Library MPublishing -Digital Publishing Project Manager
I oversee workflows and student workers to convert content from native/proprietary formats to standards such as XML and TIFF, for publishing online through the UM Library's DLXS system. I also manage the production schedules and work with content creators of more than 30 scholarly publications and projects (most freely available on the web), such as organic chemistry journal Arkivoc and philosophy journal Philosopher's Imprint.
Text Creation Partnership -
Project Manager
The Text Creation Partnership is a collaboration among university and national libraries to fund the creation of keyed, encoded text corresponding to existing digital image collections of historical books, such as Proquest's Early English Books Online (EEBO). I manage the budget, partnership agreements, and other administrative details for the TCP, and lend support to the project's outreach activities.
