Old Time Radio 
Welcome to what I hope is an entertaining and educational look into the world of 
Old Time Radio.  However, as much as I wish to make this site fun, I also wish for you 
to learn something as you travel throughout the pages.  Not only am I going to bring 
you a brief history into radio, but I also want to allow you to learn what radio meant to 
the culture of the United States during radio's  Golden Age.  After that, I would 
encourage you to follow the the directions I give you which will allow you to compare 
and contrast what I feel are two of the great mediums of all time: Radio and TV.
The activities which I provide for you will hopefully lead you to an understanding of what
 radio once meant to everyone, and at what cost our culture was effected when radio 
was replaced by television.  More importantly, I want you to come to a decision on your
own regarding the value of the use of your imagination, and the stimulation of critical 
thinking that I believe comes from listening to the great stories in Old Time Radio
