TO ADD YOURSELF TO ONE OF THESE EMAIL GROUPS

Use Host Presenter on IBMs or Telnet on Macs and connect to a computer you
normally use for email (e.g., login.itd.umich.edu).  Get to the prompt
where you would normally type "pine" (e.g., "frogger%").  This prompt will
be referred to as the "login prompt."  At this prompt type "ud" .  

You will then receive an asterisk for your prompt.  Type "subscribe ps353w99"
or "subscribe ps498w99"  and you should be added to the group.  Type "quit"  to
return to the login prompt.

TO REMOVE YOURSELF FROM ONE OF THESE EMAIL GROUPS
