At the beginning of the course, add yourself to:

Use Host Presenter on IBMs or Telnet on Macs and connect to a computer you normally use for email (e.g., login.itd.umich.edu). Get to the prompt where you would normally type "pine" (e.g., "frogger%"). This prompt will be referred to as the "login prompt." At this prompt type "ud" .

You will then receive an asterisk for your prompt. Type "subscribe ps472f98" and you should be added to the group. Type "quit" to return to the login prompt.

 This is what it would look like, if you were I, subscribing to the group:

 frogger% ud

If you drop the course during the term and do not wish to receive class email, remove yourself from:
