From johnpost@umich.edu Professor Tanter wanted to ensure that anyone reading his Iran Chapter of _Rogue Regimes_ would be able to read his footnotes at the same time. This is a very simple process. Once you have started the Netscape program and are on RT's page (http://www-personal.umich.edu/~rtanter/) go under the heading FILE (it is the top left hand corner of your screen) and select the NEW WEB BROWSER command. This will allow you to view two pages at the same time. The second page will be activated directly over your first page. To move a page on the monitor, just place the arrow on the Title Bar and drag the page to the desired location. This new page will start at the U of M Home Page so you will have to navigate to http://www-personal.umich.edu/~rtanter/iran.chapter.htm The box in the bottom right hand corner of the page allows you to change the size of the page. Click and drag it to change the screen to the desired size. While you are able to view two pages, you are only able to manipulate one. To switch from one page to the next click on it once with the mouse. The active page will have a raised Title Bar and the inactive page will have a flat Title Bar. I suggest you wait until you have the footnotes page (http://www-personal.umich.edu/~rtanter/iran.footnotes.htm) activated before changing the screen size. This will allow you to shrink the footnotes so that they may be viewed simultaneously with the text.
