I am a graduate student in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Michigan. I will be defending my thesis in the Spring of 2013. My advisor is professor Jeff Lagarias.
My primary mathematical interests are in number theory and algebraic geometry. Most recently, I've been thinking about the arithmetic of a family of rational numbers called multiple harmonic sums. Multiple harmonic sums are essentially truncated approximations to multiple zeta values. They are related to values of p-adic L-functions.
Additionally, I'm probably interested in whatever kind of math you like to think about.
