Rebecca Barbara (Ransburg) Warner

WARNER - Rebecca B. Warner was born December 9th, 1813,
died July 13th, 1898, aged 84 years, 7 months and 4 days.

She was born in Frederick county, Maryland, emigrated with
her parents, Christian and Catherine Ransburg, to Seneca county,
Ohio, when about eighteen years of age. Of her nine brothers and
sisters, all but two preceded her to the future world.

She was united in marriage with Daniel Warner, March 29th, 1838.
To this union was born ten children, seven sons and three daughters.
Two sons have died and gone home.

She moved with her husband and family to Henry county, Ohio,
in 1867, where her children married and settled near her.
There are living to mourn her death, thirty-three grandchildren
and twenty-six great-grandchildren.

She was a firm believer in Jesus as Savior of sinners, accepting
Him as her personal Savior in her early life. She united with
the M. E. church in 1857, and continued a faithful member until death.

Mother's years were four score and four,
                     When the messenger whispered low,
"The Master has come and calleth for thee."
She answered, "I am ready to go."

I gaze alone on her portrait to-night,
And more than ever I love her,
And I thank the Lord that He gave to me,
Such a good and loving mother.

The funeral was held at the U. B. Olive Branch church.
The writer officiating assisted by Rev. Buzzard and Rev. Woodruff.

                                                      W. D. Bishop.
