These are a Few of My Favorites Things

Well I got to thinking that some of my web pages are pretty cold and impersonal. Therefore, I am going to let you see a little bit of my personality in an indirect sort of way. Here you'll find some of my favorite things in life, and maybe a link or two to pages about them. Oh, and if you find yourself sharing any of these interests with me, feel free to get in touch with me. I've been working a bit on these pages as of late, so they may be in flux for a little bit of time.

You may be a little surprised by some of my interests, some have described them as eclectic. I personally think there is a trend of quality in all of them, but you may disagree. Another trend that is easy to see is that there a lot of old things that I like (particularly considering how much of it is "before my time"). I don't think that it is necessarily because "older is better." Instead it is often easier to pick out greatness over long periods of time when things have to stand up to the test of time. Movies are a notable exception here (I do believe that old movies tended to be a lot better than modern movies with the exception of the sci-fi genre).
