The Game of Chess (UNDER CONSTRUCTION)
I played chess as a child, and enjoyed the game immensely. However, I never really could find many people who wanted to play. So, I never became very good and had only a limited grasp of strategy. But recently, I've started to pick up the game again and am trying to become good at it. To this end, I've started playing on FICS. You can find me there under the name, "Kinslayer" (which comes from a Robert Jordan series - see my page on it for more information). I'm actually starting to become a decent player now. My next big obstacle is to start learning openings. If anyone wishes to play me some time, you can be sure I won't turn you down. Here's some of the interesting stuff on chess that I have found:
