I used to really like programming. Then I burned out on it. But while I was into it I liked a variety of topics. Raytracing, random graphics work, and full-up game programming. The game was a real chore, but it's so addictive! It was the only game I played for close to a year, not because I had to (the class I did it for was 3 months long), but because it was fast and fun. I even started a Master's degree in Software Engineering at the University of Michigan in Dearborn, but I switched to a hardware program at Ann Arbor (see my resume if you really care about any of that). The point is, I liked programming and I was good at it. I even did some for the military for a few years, but recognizing tanks also got boring.
