Research Interests: I am interested in energy conversion and energy storage technologies. In particular, I am working on developing efficient thermoelectric and photovoltaic energy conversion devices. I am also interested  in developing nanostructured materials for high energy density electrochemical batteries.

The work in my lab is mostly experimental. We probe the transport of electrons and phonons in nanostructures to elucidate the relationship between nanostructuring and transport properties. We intend to use the  knowledge of transport properties in nanostructured materials to build efficient solid state energy conversion devices .
