Bottom Field A pennisula of trees (mostly Oaks)
stands between the Old
Field and Open
Wetlands. At the tip of
this pennisula, Garlic Mustard has made the jump from woods
to the east. Penn Sedge is common throughout, as are Spring
Beauties. It is this section, from the penninsula
of trees in the middle to the wetlands in the south, which
became the land's first burn
(spring 99).
