Syntax: Principles & Parameters, Minimalism, comparative syntax, interfaces syntax–morphology and syntax-semantics, syntactic variation.

Psycholinguistics: first and second language acquisition, bilingualism, syntactic processing and parsing models.

Language change: theories of language change and their connection to language acquisition and learnability.
