Jason is an artist that has signs his work with the singular name but his real name is John Arne Saeteroy. He is from Europe and is currently living in Denmark. The comics that I have read have all been in English. He produced a few books some in a very realistic style. Since 1995 when he drew and published a realistically drawn book he created a magazine to help push his own personal style.

Jason uses a lot of different story lines in his comic strips and different styles of characters. Mainly Jason personifies animals and creates birds, dogs, cats and skeletons into real people. His comics can be really funny and short stories of different real life situations. Jason short stories or strips, from my reading, focus around the age-old story of a man chasing a woman. His stories include zombie men chasing women and different ways for that to end. He has many cave men strips where they hit the women over the head as a last result. The style that he draws this in is very minimalistic, the backgrounds don't include much but you do get a sense of space and setting, also each of the characters seem to be easily drawn and he uses the least amount of lines to portray a detailed aspect of the character.
