INVENTORY OF E-RESOURCES

General Description

The inventory of e-resources database (E-Title) lists the electronic resources acquired by the University Library. These resources include those funded both centrally and by library unit collection funds. The database was created using FileMaker Pro 3.0.

The following lists the fields of information contained in the database:

  • Title
  • Publisher
  • Record Number
  • Record Creation Date
  • Record Modification Date
  • Status of Title
  • Funding Information:
    Location
    Fund Code
    Current Fiscal Year Expenditure
    Original Expenditure
    Terms of Agreement
  • Access Information:
    Platform (ex. MDAS, CD-ROM LAN, SGML/Full Text)
    Method of Access (ex. Remote via CIC, Remote via MRLT)
    Subject Area (ex. Basic Sciences, Health Sciences, General Reference)
  • Notes, Contact Information, etc.

    • Appendix 8 is an illustration of both a sample record and a sample report from the database.

    Availability


    The database is currently available in the shared space on the Library servers. In the future, we hope to make the resource available via the world wide web.
