Personal Interests
I love airplanes and cars... right now, I'm restoring cars, because I
don't have a hanger to restore an airplane in. The
cars,
I'm restoring right now are mainly Ford Mustangs. I hope to finish these and move
on to something like a Waco YMF-3 biplane someday. I'm particularly fond of airplanes
with big round engines, so most planes that appeal to me were made before 1945.
Yes, if I had unlimited amounts of cash and time, I'd love to dig up one of
the remaining Greenland icecap P-38's and restore it, too.
I enjoy
firearms
mainly because of the engineering involved in making a good firearm, and the
skill used in operating it well.
I enjoy travel, but haven't done as much as I would like. I've traveled a
fair bit through the southwestern states, mainly New Mexico, Arizona and
Colorado. The rocky mountains are nice, but the Jemez mountains in northwestern
New Mexico are, to me, even more beautiful. I've also visited Paris and
southern France, and hope to do that again!
Life is easier with a bit of humor in it... so don't forget to read the
Dilbert
comics today!
