The Strelinger catalogue (1895), pp. 183-4, says of the Always Ready (whence we derive the title) that "the samaller sizes are very popular; [it] is a handy tool nicely finished and nickel-plated." It seems to have been available in 5", 7", 9-1/2", 11-1/2" sizes, plus a thinner variety of 5". Ours is perhaps the last (price: $.40).
