A. General info on "Batches"

1. For processing purposes, the Hyperbib is divided into "batches," just as the MED is divided into "bundles."

2. Batch divisions do not break up natural divisions (e.g. by author).

3. Roughly a hundred+ entries are included in each batch.

4. If new entries must be added between existing batches, they should be added to the end of the preceding batch, not the beginning of the succeeding batch, unless they belong with the entries there for some special reason. First and last entries as listed below will change as new entries are added and thus provide only a rough guide.
