Key and code the following pages:

  1. Title page (front only)
     = image 00000003.tif

  2. Main text = pp.[1]-412
     = images 00000035.tif-00000448.tif

Structure

  <FRONT>
	contains the title page only.

  <BODY>
	contains most of the book, divided into three
    	major divisions (<DIV1>s), "Evangelia Dominicalia"
	(000000035.tif-00000198.tif), "Commune Sanctorum"
	(00000199.tif-00000330.tif), and "Proprium Sanctorum"
	(00000331.tif-00000448.tif) respectively.

  <DIV1>s

	with TYPE="part" are used to separate "Evangelia Dominicalia",
	"Commune Sanctorum", and "Proprium Sanctorum," as referred to
	above. Any prefatory text that comes between the <DIV1> head
	and the beginning of the <DIV2> head should be marked as a
	<NOTE> and tied to the head. If the <DIV1> includes an
	introductory phrase (it would precede the <DIV2> heads), it should be
	tagged as a <HEAD> within <DIV1>. Thus, the three parts should begin,
	respectively:

	<DIV1 TYPE="part">
     	<HEAD>EVANGELIA DOMINICALIA</HEAD>
	<PB><PB>
	<HEAD>HERE BIGYNNEN<LB>DE SONEDAI GOSPELIS,<LB>
	EXPOWNED IN PARTIE.</HEAD>
	<DIV2 TYPE="section">

	<DIV1 TYPE="part">
	<HEAD>COMMUNE SANCTORUM</HEAD>
	<PB>
	<NOTE PLACE="head"><P>[The sermons which follow, on the gospels
	of the office . . . </P><P>Although of course ther is a general
	agreement, the . . . </P><P>Out of the thirty-one . . .</P>
	</NOTE>
	<HEAD>HERE BIGYNNE&THORN; &THORN;E<LB>COMOUN SANCTORUM,<LB>
	&THORN;E SECUNDE PART OF &THORN;IS BOOK.</HEAD>
	<DIV2 TYPE="section">

	<DIV1 TYPE="part">
	<HEAD>PROPRIUM SANCTORUM</HEAD>
	<NOTE PLACE="head"><P>[Bishop Bale, in the later edition . . .
	</P><P>The writer, whether Wyclif or not, . . .</P>
	<DIV2 TYPE="section">

  <DIV2>s

  	with TYPE="section" are used to mark the individual sermons
	within the three main parts. Preceding each sermon are
	two lines, one describing a date or time and one citing the
	sermon number. Both should be enclosed in <HEAD> tags within
	the <DIV2> tag. For example (pp.218):

	<DIV2 TYPE="section"><HEAD>&THORN;E GOSPEL ON FEESTE OF MANY
	MARTRIS</HEAD><HEAD>[SERMON LXIX]</HEAD>

Smaller divisions

	After the headings of each sermon, there is a quotation
	(in italics) and a citation. These should be enclosed in
	<EPIGRAPH> tags.

	Text of the sermons (<DIV2>s) is prose and should be
	tagged as paragraphs (<P>). Paragraphs are identified by
	indentations in the text. Several sermons will have only
	one long paragraph.

Notes

	Notes appear at the bottom of the page, keyed
	to the text by either superscripted footnote numbers or
	letters. As usual, omit the superscripted footnote numbers
	or letters from both the note and the text and embed the
	notes at the appropriate place in the text with <NOTE PLACE=
	"foot">.

	Editorial notes in the margins of the text can be safely
	disregarded.
