Health FAQs

Health and Medical Internet Resources for Consumers and Providers

P. F. Anderson, University of Michigan

Patients, patient advocates, and other consumers of health care information account for some of the largest growing segments of Internet use. There is a growing community of health information providers committed to providing reliable qualitative information. Resources for health care providers tend to be more difficult to locate, and the commercial presence is a complicating issue. This site lists Internet- based resources for health reference, drug information, clinical guidelines, employment, health in the news, and more for both health consumers and health care providers.

NOTE: This Health FAQ site is currently ONLY a clickable collection of links referred to in the paper presented at the May 2000 National Online Meeting in New York. There is no text, commentary or explanation.
