Case of the Month (see previous cases)

This woman has a 6 tooth fixed partial denture or bridge.  The teeth involved are the lower 6 front teeth.  The 4 elongated teeth in the middle front are porcelain and gold.  The 2 teeth on each side of these center 4 are natural teeth with crowns or "caps" over them, again made of porcelain and gold.  The 4 middle false teeth are soldered onto these crowns and originally were extracted because of persistent infection.  This bridge is apparent when the lips are retracted, but in the normal smile look natural.  All other teeth are natural.
