Copyright Notice, Restrictions of Use, Shrink-Wrap Agreement

Section 1: Preamble and Application
1.1By viewing, surfing, reading, using, transmitting, or searching these pages (http://www-personal.umich.edu/~parsec/) you agree to and acknowledge the following sections:
Section 2: Copyright Notice
2.1These pages (http://www-personal.umich.edu/~parsec/) and their contents (except as noted in section 2 paragraph 2) have been created by Michael Joseph Skora (hereafter referred to as "the artist") and are subject to United States Copyright law and the International Berne Convention.
2.2Property of others not labeled as such should not be construed as an attempt to claim ownership.
2.3This notice shall expand to take advantage of any additional laws or treaties protecting the artist's work wherever available.
Section 3: Restrictions of Use
3.1The reproduction or broadcast of these pages is restricted to the following situations:
3.2Educational usage:
3.2.1Limited to usage in curriculum of public educational institutions. Private institutions are prohibited.
3.3Personal usage:
3.3.1Personal means an individual not involved in business or political activities.
3.3.2Limited to one paper copy (must include copyright notice: "© Michael Skora") and one temporary non-permanent digital copy specifically the browser cache file.
3.4Business usage:
3.4.1A business includes but is not limited to any for profit business, private education, political organization.
3.4.2Limited to one paper copy (must include copyright notice: "© Michael Skora") and one temporary non-permanent digital copy specifically the browser cache file.
3.4.3Intent beneficial to the artist must be obvious. It shall be the sole discretion of the artist to determine the definition of beneficial intent.
3.4.4Otherwise prohibited without written permission.
3.5For profit reproduction, transmittal, or storage:
3.5.1Paper, analog, electromechanical, electromagnetic, encrypted or part of an encryption scheme, digital.
3.5.2Reproduction or transmittal by service or product of the Microsoft Corporation is prohibited in all circumstances overriding any other agreement. (examples: Microsoft Network (MSN), Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Windows).
3.6Unspecified use:
3.6.1Prohibited without my express written consent.
Section 4: Compensation for Misuse
4.1Establishment of a fee, fine, or compensation structure shall not be construed as permission for use.
4.2Compensation shall be set at a rate of $50,000.00 (1999 U.S. dollars) per unit (defined in section 4 paragraph 3) or 1000% of total gross profits, whichever is larger.
4.3A unit shall be measured in commonly accepted computing standards as a pixel for images and a byte for text or code.
Section 5: Indemnification and Warranty
5.1The artist shall not be held liable for any damage occurred as a consequence of using (or not using) these pages under any circumstances. They are made available on an as-is basis.
5.2There is no warrenty express or implied associated with these pages.
Section 6: Correctness
6.1The artist is always right.
Section 7: Substitution
7.1The artist reserves the right to substitute any appropriate foodstuff in place of a wet noodle for your well deserved whipping.
Section 8: Changes
8.1The artist reserves the right to modify this agreement at will and without notification to any other party to clarify the intent of the agreement.
8.2The artist reserves the right to add or remove clauses such as Section 7 at any time without notification to any party.
Section 9: Intent
9.1The intent of the agreement shall be considered more important than the phrasing so that if any loopholes exist they shall be considered closed by intent.
Section 10: Intolerance
10.1Bigots, misogynists, and other lowlifes as determined by the artist have no rights under this agreement but are wholly and irrevocably bound by section 10 paragraphs 2 and 3.
10.2As determined in section 10 paragraph 1, those who fit the description shall duly and swiftly remove themselves from the gene pool by any means necessary.
10.3As determined in section 10 paragraph 1, those who fit the description shall hereafter maintain a distance of no less than 100 meters from any person less than 21 years of age.
10.4As determined in section 10 paragraph 1, those who fit the description shall hereafter not attempt to communicate or influence any person less than 21 years of age. Examples are web sites, television programming, and advertising.
Section 11: Legal Agreement
11.1This constitutes the whole of the agreement between the artist and you. If any part of the agreement is weakened or rendered null it shall be construed in a manner consistent with applicable law to reflect, as nearly as possible, the original intentions of the artist, and shall not weaken or nullify any other part of the agreement.
