Yu Liu

Postdoctoral Fellow

I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Neurogenesis laboratory.
My work is studying inherited epilepsy mechanisms using human iPSCs and developing novel approaches to enrich neural progenitors from human embryonic stem cells. Also I work to assess the therapeutic potency of stem cells by transplanting them into stroke-lesioned rats.
When I am not in lab, I enjoy playing with my kid, and spending time with family. I also like fishing and boating.
