new feature: erin live! (not to be confused with sesame street live!. after all, i've never been likened to big bird. at least not for any lengthy period of time.)

note: erin live! is available (with fresh pictures) intermittently. why? because the workstation i have it set up on at work is not the one i use all of the time, so it's not on 24/7. take what you can get.

i now return you to our regularly scheduled program.

this isn't really my homepage. my real homepage resides over at musenet. this is just a temporary place to put things up, like the scans below.
okay, so this is starting to turn into something a bit more permanent. i guess it just has a different flavor than the musenet page. cope.

is this thing on?

ah, the joys of being published. check out my first article written for the michigan daily.

hey, kids, school has started! now includes my review of the wings of the dove.

"more to come" has become a reality (see below). take a good look.

i finally got my pics from the ben lee concert developed. i've scanned a few of them (more to come, though they're mostly the same) plus some other sundry items. wooyay.

a new service for you, faithful reader: erin's entertaining excerpt earchive. read it and weep. updated 8/29/97

it's always odd when you find your own writing on the net in places where you didn't put it, isn't it?

hey, kids, it's no longer summer vacation! sob! scream! moan!

my everpopular resume. yes, you too could be an erin employer tm.

the apocalypse is upon us. i shrunk down the scans.

go see the english patient right now. like mscl, it's affected me like not much else in this pathetic little world. plus, i spent so much time getting rid of the background from the pic below, it's the least you could do.

above, you see ralph fiennes as count laszlo de almasy. below, he plays oscar hopkins in oscar and lucinda, due out in november. i wait impatiently for this film with same longing as i do for claire's fall offerings. it will be fantastic, and i pray that fiennes picks up another oscar nom for this. read the book by peter carey in your spare time.

but seeing as the english patient isn't in theatres or on video (although video/laserdisc release is set for september 23) right now, i implore you to see contact, starring jodie foster, as soon as possible. it opens this friday and it's a phenomenal film. i saw a sneak on saturday night and it's easily the best film i've seen since the english patient and then some. plus i threw together this lovely pic. hey, i do it because i care, and because i have photoshop.

how about some evidence that i really did meet claire danes?

ack, i saw her again on 6/21/97. what a strange world. btw, claire, i'm sorry about that inadvertent picture..

check out these block-rockin' scans, including me with the ultra-cool wilson cruz and some claire scans.

this was in the detroit free press on 9/13/96, caption of "claire danes performs in 'the polish wedding' at st. florian catholic church on thursday."

this is me and my friend zimm. it was taken for the yearbook because we were voted "walking encyclopedia" in the mock elections. unfortunately, this was not the picture that was used in the yearbook. but i got to keep it; it's on my fridge at home. and yes, that's snow in the background. but it was taken in april.

me and my computer, effigy.reshall.umich.edu. aka mscl.addiction.com.
