When We're Together

When We’re Together is a direct cinema documentary about the Michigan Primary on March 10, 2020. “Partisanship” is the keyword of the day, but the bigger story is generational difference. Young people are working to install a government that serves their interests, not their parents’. This is a look at youth activism during the Michigan primary, and how it was derailed the day of the vote: that night, Bernie Sanders lost and the governor announced the first cases of Covid-19, and everything changed. Now it’s nothing but questions.
