The Evolution and Medicine Network

This website is for scientists, scholars and clinicians working at the interface of evolution and medicine. While evolutionary biology has long provided a foundation for studies of antibiotic resistance and population genetics, its contributions to many other areas of medicine are just now being developed. No journal or scientific society yet provides a network for communication and coordination of work in this area. This website is a project undertaken by the evolution and medicine community to create an Evolution and Medicine Network for sharing information. Your contributions would be most appreciated.

If you would like to join an email list with sparse mailings about events related to Darwinian or evolutionary medicine, please send a note to list@EvolutionAndMedicine.org.

We would like to expand the resources provided on this page. Especially welcome are links to syllabi for courses on evolution and medicine, conferences, and developing educational opportunities. Please send web links and other relevant content to info@EvolutionAndMedicine.org.

We are also developing a database to allow scientists and clinical professionals to find others who share their interests. Please send information to list@EvolutionAndMedicine.org for inclusion, using the format:

-Name
-Department and University or other affiliation
-URL for personal or departmental website
-Contact information for inclusion in a web database
-Keywords to describe areas of interest
