I am a Visiting Assistant Professor and an NSF
postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Mathematics of University of Michigan,
Ann Arbor, where my NSF sponsor is Michael Zieve.
I received my Ph.D. in 2011 at the Technion,
where my advisor was Jack Sonn. My research interests lie in the areas of
algebra and number theory. In particular, I am interested in Brauer groups, Galois theory, algebraic number theory,
field arithmetic, and profinite groups. Email: neftin@umich.edu Some links: Mathscinet, arXiv, GLNT,
Zieve`s resources, Sonn`s conference.
