Imperial Slopes

This is a two-player penguin racing game based on Club Penguin's Sled-Racing minigame. It was a rapid prototype developed over the course of two weeks. The instructions are provided in the tutorial, but the tutorial is conveniently broken in the WebGL build, so in fact the instructions are provided below.

Instructions

Player one (right)

• Use the arrow keys to move
• Use '.' (period) to jump
• Use ',' (comma) to throw snowballs

Player two (left)

• Use WASD to move
• Use C to jump
• Use V to throw snowballs

If you are hit by a snowball, you'll slow down
Collect sardines for a speed boost

Creating Avalanches

• Pressing the jump button twice will make you do a belly flop
• Five belly flops triggers an avalanche
• The last player to belly flop triggers an avalanche on the OTHER player
• If your avalanche warning sign is red, you were NOT the last player to belly flop (i.e., you're in danger)
