Four-Panel Folding Screen
Pattern: Expanding Crosses. Frame construction: Fox-wedged mortise and tenon, glueless. Screen construction: Interference fit, glueless. Material: Walnut, oil finish. Panel size: 19½ " wide, 66" high.
The frame of this screen is assembled using fox-wedged mortise and tenon, a top-notch conventional joinery. The hinges are acid-dipped, chemically darkened, and recessed into the frame. The latticework is the heavy gauge ¾" by ¾" solid stock variety.
