The Record module lets you record loops in realtime. You can save them to the first empty
slot in the SampleList window by pushing the Save button
- Record comes in 3 flavors - 1 second, 10 seconds, and 30 seconds. This is the maximum
length of sample which can be stored. Longer times use more memory - 1 second takes 88 K,
10 seconds takes about a Meg. Try not to use more RAM than you have available or ELE will
run like a drunken hippo.
- The blue input takes Sync pulses generated by a Looper and they are passed through also
to the blue output. If no Sync pulses are connected, Record loops with the maximum time period
available.
- There is a radio button with 3 settings:
- PLAY: Echoes the input audio through the output, while mixing in the recorded sample
- OVERDUB: Adds the input audio to the recorded sample.
- RECORD: Replaces the recorded sample with the input audio. Handy for clearing the
sample - you can RECORD silence.
