Carving clearance ofr the gaff hardware.
Pangur Ban at last has a means of propulsion, courtesy of Gambeel and Hunter. They are built of cream colored 7oz Oceanus. The bolt ropes and thimbles are hand-stitched. They are lovely.
Laid the spars and sails out on the ground to verify the fit. One small problem is the angle at which the gaffs will set. I didn't allow enough clearance at the throats of the gaff jaws for the hardware I was using. It was a simple task to cut some of the excess away from the butt of the gaffs.
