Rough-turned the rudder shaft and adjusted the upper bearing collar to match the pvc pipe I'm using as a rudder tube. Continued fairing the joints in the deck and built the coaming and hatch cover for the aft hatch.

Just the odd fiddly bits on the boat. And to add to the joy, I just got a permit for repair work on the front porch, so the next few months is going to be a sawdust-filled joy.

Amongst the demolition of the front porch, got to do some fiberglassing of the topsides. Rained most of the weekend, which puts a crimp in epoxy work. I did manage to turn the centerboard bearings to size, so now I have to get the 'board done up, along with the rudder
