The second floor of the McAllaster House has (had-see here.) a bathroom and a small bedroom. Because it is almost impossible to get large furniture up the staircase we decided to furnish the room with built-in bookcases, a bed, and a desk. Nancy calls this room the treehouse.

The bed has storage underneath, and more places for books all around. The bookcases are oak plywood with oak edging
