About

RealReverb is a set of modules for sound engineers that measure, simulate and process room acoustics.

An acoustics recording is a digital fingerprint of how a room (or environment) sounds. This fingerprint can be applied later at the studio, making a dry recording sound exactly as if it were recorded at the location where the fingerprint was recorded.

For example, consider a movie production which gets dubbed in many languages. Usually a sound engineer has to manually adjust the voices to make them match the scene. With RealReverb you can record the acoustics of the scenes, so the dubbed sound will sound exactly as if the actors had been moved to the original locations of the movie.
