Monique Boivin is an Independent Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant specialising in HIV/AIDS and health systems strengthening. She has worked to improve the effectiveness of health systems and human rights advocacy efforts at the stages of needs assessment, policy-creation, program planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. Most recently, she has conducted a series of evaluations for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB, and Malaria in Malawi. On behalf of John Snow, Inc., she has also evaluated PEPFAR-funded initiatives aimed at capacity-building and integrating HIV/AIDS and general health services throughout Uganda. She holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Michigan School of Public Health with an Interdepartmental Concentration in Global Health. Monique Boivin brings to her work vast experience in gender analysis and utilisation of human rights frameworks. Over the past five years, she has held public health and communications positions with increasing responsibility in training staff, university students, volunteers, and community members in a number of cultural and linguistic settings across North America and East and Southern Africa. |
